A Notion to Knit

Running on empty.

I got nothin'.

Or very little anyway. No pictures. I've been really lazy about getting photos off of my cameras and/or uploaded.

I'm almost halfway through a pair of Magic Slippers using Wildfoote yarn. The bootie I'm working on seems much smaller than the other few I've done. I'm sure part of it is because Wildfoote is much smaller yarn but I'm concerned. I am never around babies so I have no idea if this is too small or not. Hmmm. I may go see if anyone has used Wildfoote for this pattern, on Ravelry.

Pictures, of something, tomorrow. I promise.

1. I baked peanut butter cookies tonight. They aren't very pretty and that bugs me. But, I used coconut flour (because I''m out of 'regular' flour) and was pleasantly surprised with the flavor it adds to the cookies. I think I'll start mixing some of it in for the flavor.

2. I haven't knit in a few days. I do have a few projects on the needles that are making me happy though.

3. I had a committee meeting that went well today. Tomorrow I have a league meeting that is at the same time as another meeting. I'll have to go with the league meeting because it's mandatory. Suddenly the weekend became very busy.

4. I'm almost done moving music from my MacBook Pro to my netbook. I have a feeling there's an easier route than the one I chose. Anyway, it will be done and I know I have what I want on each of the three. Until an iPad anyway.

5. I'm sleepy and almost forgot to blog so I think I'm done now. I am remembering to copy this though just to be sure I don't lose the post. See you tomorrow.

That one was a little more serious than usual but got my attention. So, there was a change in plans because of all the snowfall overnight. Definitely, we will be home tomorrow. I will probably do a random blog entry tomorrow. See you then.

Magic Slippers, Socks That Rock Lightweight in Turquoise. These are for a friend that's due in April. This pattern is so cute and fast. Although, maybe most baby patterns are fast? I don't know, I've knit very few baby patterns.

I'm still away but will be home tomorrow. This has been a beautiful and fun getaway but it'll be good to be home too. See you then.
