A Notion to Knit

Today has been lazy but stressful. There has been some knitting. The knitting was only a tiny bit stressful. I had to rip out about 4 inches of Starburst, my Skew sock #1. But, I'm already almost back to where I ripped out. So, overall that was a pleasing task. I would've been unhappy with what I had if I'd left it alone. Other than that I had a few things I had to deal with that were stressful but are now taken care of, with only some thoughts left. And now my day has ended stressfully, but it'll be okay.

I've been working on photos tonight. Getting them uploaded to Flickr. Organizing them. Picking out my favorites. I'm behind back to when my week in Sunriver with my friend L. So, this mosaic is a happy looking back at the ride over to the mountains. So dreamy. ...................................................................................................and then ... Computer probbbblems, whyyyyy?

A list is the way.

1. I'm so, so sleepy. I fell asleep about 8pm, maybe a little earlier. I think I'll be able to get back to sleep soon.

2. I got very little knitting done today. With all the projects that I'd like to see completed, I need to knit more each day.

3. I have sweet, lovey kitties.

4. I got a chance to hang out with my *bestie* L today. She's so funny. Good day.

5. Tomorrow is the hubby's birthday!

It's a start.

So, I think I've got projects figured out for Ravelympics and the Knitting Olympics. I'm entering both.

For the Knitting Olympics, I'm doing Skew. Thanks to Melissa tweeting about this pattern, I'm knitting this as my *from scratch* pattern. So yeah, that's my brand new knit that I'll do and I've decided it will even be the first thing that I start at "The Time".

Everything I'm working on for the Ravelympics 2010 are UFO's:
-Alhambra, for my Mom. On the needles since fall of 2008.
-Central Park Hoodie, for me (in theory anyway). On the needles since fall of 2008.
-Noro Silk Garden lite striped socks for me. I don't remember when I put these on the needles but I'm thinking *again* fall of 2008.
-On Hold socks for my friend E. These were cast on sometime in the last 4 months I think. I haven't knit on them in about 2 months at least.
-Toe socks for my Mom. Maybe fall of 2007, eep.

I think that's it?... Probably a lot considering how .. OOh shiny! I get. Sooo, I'll check in tomorrow with pictures to refresh these projects. I should probably get the Ravelry pages or tags or whatever going before the flame. *pulling on my hair* already. ....

***oh yeah. The yarn last night was Plymouth Happy Feet (the pink yarn) and Artyarns (the lime green & teal).

Something fixed, something broken.

I figured out finally that my iPod *will* hold my headphones! I thought something was really really wrong but I got it all squared away. And before having it one year, yay.
