This is the yarn from my LYS sale. Left to right: Lana's Stop Mohair in Melon (3 skeins) and White (4 skeins). I'm thinking about doing the Melon mohair in the Perfect Pie Shawl from Weekend Knitting instead of the eggplant colored lambswool that I got from the Black Sheep Gathering. The white mohair wants to be Birch from Rowan, but I need to check more closely about the needle and yardage requirements. The orange and brown Trekking and blue Fortissima are sock yarns just to stash for now. The white yarn is Mission Falls 1824 Cotton and I have 10 skeins of them, maybe for a summer top? And the black KFI Cashmerino (2 skeins) is to complete a ribbed scarf that I've had on the needles now for over a year and a half. I think it's time to go on a yarn diet . . well, aside from maybe just a few more skeins of Cotton Ease. But I'd really like to actually start knitting from my stash, although I do enjoy looking at all my sock yarn as neat little skeins.
And I finished Tivoli. I was going to keep taking pictures but decided to keep this picture. I'm not really happy with pictures of me so I had to realize this one actually did come out right. I do love my Tivoli! It is very comfortable. I used between 598 and 648 yards of Tahki Cotton Classic (I'd been saying between 400-500 but just took a good look at my notes!) and followed the pattern for a size 36. By the way, it fits really well though I noticed in this picture it looks like one side doesn't cover enough. That's my trying to deal with the self-timer on the camera! Thanks Grumperina for a great pattern.
Almost caught up!
